Good morning:
I have a cake order which I am going to be doing Friday. It is a 2 layer WASC cake cover with BC frosting. It is a 11 x 15 pan. I am going to make little snakes and a non-edible hat in the middle made out of MMF. The theme is Indiana Jones. I am also going to make chocolate molded skulls for two corners. I hope this is enough detail. Can anyone give me some advice on how much to charge...please!!! It would really help me out because although I have made cakes before; I have never been paid for it.

Thank you icon_smile.gif

Usually I charge per serving to make it easier like 2.50 per serving. Then I would charge for the figures (snakes, hats) about 5-10 depending on how big they are. Good luck

Yep, figure out a per serving price. That's a pretty big cake, wilton party slice chart has it at 56 servings. So, if you charge 2.50*56=140. Then a little extra for the figures, those don't seem too complicated. I'd say around $150-160.
