Clear Vanilla Extract And Clear Vanilla Flavoring. Help!

I am trying the WASC recipe for the first time and just noticed it calls for clear vanilla flavoring, which I don't have, but I do have clear vanilla extract. Are they the same? Can the extract be used as the flavoring??? Help!
