I would like a delicious chocolate frosting recipe that will crust or that can at least be applied smoothly. Any and all help is welcomed.

Oh yeah it doesnt really need to be dark chocolate just dark in color, if that makes any sense.

I use the Chocolate Decorator's Buttercream recipe found on this site. It smooths really well. I also double the amount of chocolate it calls for to make it darker.

I do my basic buttercream icing and add in Hersey's Special Dark Cocoa to it. I do need to add a little more liquid because the cocoa/chocolate tends to dry the icing out. It gives it a great rich chocolate taste and a great color.
