Quick Question About Refridg And Cake

Hi all...just mad a cake with buttercream and fondant decorations...can i refridge it for 2 hours till the party? it is so stinkin hot here...will it cause any kind of condensation on the cake or decorations? thanks!!!

There's really no need to refrigerate the cake. It only tends to dry them out.

I refrigerate all of my cakes...BC and fondant. Fondant will sweat but eventually evaporate with no problems.
