I have a cake to do for next weekend for my church's preschool director who will be retiring and moving to another state. I usually make 1 12x18 sheet for church functions, but since there will be preschool employees, parents, and students, I need to do 2 12x18 sheets. I plan on doing different flavors - 1 chocolate and 1 vanilla. I need this to be fairly simple as I am directing the church's VBS, which will begin the following day. Does anyone have any ideas? Do you think I should decorate 2 separate cakes or put them side by side as 1 extra large sheet? Any ideas on wording and/or decorations would be greatly appreciated.
