Tonight I am baking 2 12" cakes. I will be stacking them and then putting 2 10" cakes on top of that. Can I just put one 12", layer of icing, another 12" and then do the 10" the same?

TIA

Sure but don't forget the dowel/support system.

I am trying to figure out the best way to support it. I think I am going to put the 10s on a separator plate. What do you think would be best?
