So I was talking with a fellow decorator and she was disappointed with the software to design a cake. So I was thinking I could do something with PowerPoint that might do the same thing.

Anyway, I'll give it a go.

I've got my own ideas... but can anyone give me some must haves?

I use Word. I started to use other 'design' programs, but found that for nothing beats Word to do the basics.

I do however, first sketch a drawing in my notebook and then do a computerized rendition.
