I use the SPS system for all my cakes. I have never had a problem and I usually do set-up on site. But the question I had about the system is do you ever cut the legs to get the height you want. I know they have a 4 inch, but sometimes I need even smaller even my 1/2 inch. I have cut them many times, but it is lot of work. Do you cut yours, if so what do you use to get an even cut. Thanks.

I always have to cut the legs, as none of my cakes are exactly 4 inches high. (usually just a tad less) I use my DH's rotary saw! Works like a charm..I just mark one leg and then line them up against the edge and one swoop, cut all four. Its clean as can be!

I have to cut the legs also. I use my husbands saw as well. It works well. I mark them and he cuts them for me.
