I just have a question about humidity and edible images. I am making a 4 tier cake for my family reunion tomorrow and it is supposed to be pretty humid. I'm scared to death that my buttercream will sweat and melt the images. My question is, do you think I would be safer putting the images on a thin piece of fondant and attach it to the cake or do you think I should just take my chances with placing it directly on the cake? This is the first edible image I have done so I am very inexperienced at this. Any suggestions?
