This is the fathers day cake I made for my dh.
It is buttercream with crushed cookie sand and icecream cones covered with buttercream trees.
I looked at a lot of cakes and read ideas and came up with this.
I hope that is ok.

All the "men in my life" - dad, hubby, father-in-law are big time golfers. Thus, I also have a couple of golf cakes in my photos, and golf-themed cakes are a bog hit at any "man" occasion. Yours looks great!

That's a great cake. I love the color of the grass, that deep green looks perfect.

I wish my husband had some hobby that I could use as a theme for a cake...I'm always scrambling to come up with something.
