You could make a cakes filled with hawaiin flowers like Orchids, Hibiscus, Plumeria (either silk, fondant or Royal Icing).

When I think of hawaii I think of beautiful beaches with surfers, coconuts, grass skirts, volcanos, rain forests.

You could do a nice beach with surf boards standing in the sand. Or even do a surfboard cake . . .

Depending on who the cake is for....

A hula girl cake using the "wonder-mold" is fun...make a grass skirt and find a Barbie with a bikini for the doll. Go here to see one I made (it's the cover picture on the Kid's cakes album): http://www.freewebs.com/resaeastwood/apps/photos/

Or a round cake with a huge hibiscus flower covering the top...I made one with a FBCT.

I really like the beach idea given above if you want to go all out!
