Hi,
I am a newbie and I will be baking a 11 X 15 cake for the first time. I want the layer to raise nicely 2 inches high (I will not be using two layers, just single layer). Can anyone tell me how many WASC recipes I will have to use? Or if I make it with boxed cake as per the instruction, how many boxes do I need to use for this one. If anyone has a recipe from scratch for this, I will try that one too.

TIA,

The 11x15 pan calls for 11 cups of batter. My WASC recipe makes approx. 14 cups of batter. So one recipe should be enough. It will rise up over the pan if you fill it up a least 2/3 high. Then you can trim off the excess while it is still in the pan.
