Does anyone have any directions for making a watering can cake especially the spout. I assume that it is held on by a dowel but what is made out of so it light and doesn't fall off ?. and also the lip on top. Is there a template somewhere that I could use? Thank You

Try using Rice krispies. They work well

. . . this one uses a dowel covered in fondant (and makes reference to other cakes/makers that can be used as reference to check out too) . . . http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1202805

this one is also great . . . I'm thinking the spout is fondant/gumpaste 50/50 around a dowel (just like the other one above) . . . I also love the handle . . . http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=46904
