is it possible to make a cake mix less sweet? if anyone knows, please help me out. im in desperate need and really do not feel like making a cake from scratch unless i really have to. thanks so much!

Add 1/2c of all purpose flour, 1tablspoon of baking powder, and 1 ex-large egg and maybe a little vanilla, depending on the flavor of the cake mix.

That's what I do and it works fine for most of my cakes. I personally do not like it used with chocolate.
