Hello I am wanting to try to make those beautiful cookies decorated w/fondant...i have no clue where to start. I know they are mostly made w/sugar cookies any other types cookies used? Don't they spread whn baking? How easy is fondant to use? Help!! Any tips and techniques would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Kristi

Here's a link to the NFSC (no fail sugar cookies) recipe. http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2055-83-No-Fail-Sugar-Cookies.html It works really well, with little to no spreading. As far as fondant goes, it's super easy to use. Just use the same cookie cutter and cut out your fondant. The fondant can be placed on a warm cookie or you can put a little corn syrup on the cookie to attach the fondant. I'm sure others will jump in here and help with more tips!
