How long will a bagged NFSC decorated w/ MMF/RI be fresh for?

I need to make 200 cookies, but am leaving for Europe the week they are due, and I don't want to leave it for the week prior to leaving as I will have a lot of things going on.

Will they stay fresh for 2 weeks? I know I can't freeze them w/ MMF on them.

You sure can freeze them with MMF on them, I do it all the time. Completely decorate your cookie, let them dry, bag them, put them in a plastic container, and freeze. To thaw, set the container on the counter for a few hours, just the way it is. Your cookies will come out looking just as good as when they went in. They will even travel well after coming out of the freezer. I have taken them by car from FL to OH. Hope this helps.
