Just needed to vent to some who would understand. I am doing a cake for my hubby's cousin's college graduation. I thought the colors were burgundy and gold. Heck it looks like burgundy on the website. Get the grad announcement it's more of a red with a touch of burgundy. Her open house invites are a burgundy border. The school website says santa clara red. What the heck - hard enough to do normal colors let alone one they made up!!! I even tried to look at their merchandise - some looks redish and others more burgundy - can't they make up their mind! GRRR......

ooh, thats insane!!! I would just go with the color you feel more comfortable using.. your going to go crazy matching some schools colors. If he has some kind of uniform go by that. It's probably the closest one you'll be right with. good luck!!! HTH

I wouldn't futz around trying to match this that and the other. Just do whatever color burgundy/maroon you have.
