I have a lady that wants a full sheet butter cream cake. she would also like for me to do a 1/4 sheet cross cake and place it on top of the cake. How do I do this? I can do the sheet cake. I can do the cross cake. I have never placed a cake on top of another. To be honest I'm scared to do it because I don't even know how to even begin to attempt it.

Any help or suggestions?

Thank you in Advance

How tall is your sheet cake?

If your sheet cake is 2", you can just add the cross cake (as if you were making a layer cake).

If your sheet cake is 4", you will have to put the cross cake on a (cut-to-fit) cakeboard and use dowels for support.

Of course, for convenience in removing & cutting the cross cake - it can be placed on a cakeboard (and dowels).
