I am making a birthday cake for someone, and m curious if anyone knows a good frosting recipe that would go well with strawberry cake?

how about a lemon flavored buttercream, or cream cheese frosting?

Dark chocolate ganache. Just like a chocolate covered strawberry and you could even carve it and make it look like that.

Thankyou all for the ideas. How well do those icings do for coloring and decorating? That's the main thing i'm worried about.
