Quick Fix Simple Mold For Sea Shells

is there anything besides the silcone that i can use to make sea shell molds with? nothing too extravgant- just to make up a few shells for now. a quick fix icon_wink.gif

i bought a bag of shells at wal mart for the impressions. what can i use to make a mold from though. i am going to make the sea shells using fondant.

I'm not sure what it's make of but I've used "amazing mold putty" from Michael's. It works quickly but is pricey unless you have a coupon.

Why don't you just use pre-made chocolate/candy shell molds? That's the quickest, cheapest way to go, about $2 for a sheet of different shells. They make sooo many types and they're pretty realistic.

I used them on the only cake pic I've been able to upload. Haven't had the time to figure out how to re-size my pics. Having a few problems with Windows Vista.
