Well, another one done...

more experience under my belt....

Had a hard time with this bride about the fountain being under the cake icon_eek.gif and not one the base tier. Thank goodness I couldn't find and pans bigger than 16".

Another thing I have learned, after 2 times. I will arrange the flowers for the next tiered cakes I do. Second time I've show up and there wasn't any flowers for the cake. Looks pretty good for scrounging up flowers from the table flowers.

Any advice? I took a side pic because I put a pillar in the front of the fountain...duh, but the cake pillars were lined up! icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for looking!
LL

That is a great attempt, and I am sure that your confidence is boosted 10 times over!!!!
Might I suggest that you use a little 'lift' of the bottom cake plate so that it does not sit directly on the table? You can achieve this by turning over a few custard bowls or shallow dishes in a circle, cover with a soft piece of fabric, which would then be crunched up around the cake.....this would give the cake more of a 'seating' and elevate the creation giving it its own presence.
I see you live in Costa Rica, and I have visited many times, and I am sure there are many different foliage in your gardens....you could also use leaves or ferns under the board to give it the same effect.
Keep up the wonderful work..!!

Funny you are to say that angienajjar,

I did get some greenery from the resturant there.

I'll have to try that raised look, didn't even cross my mind, I was more worried about the tiers standing up.

Thanks

Jessica
