I need to make tiny fondant cowboy hats. I have an idea of what to do, but thought I would check here to see if anybody has some advice before I start experimenting!

Hi Kathy!
I know ABC Decorating in Phoenix has some cowboy hat candy molds in several sizes. Maybe those might help. I've only done one cowboy hat so far and I used a styrofoam flower former to shape the fondant over and cut the brim freehand to fit. ( it's the cowgirl cake in my gallery)

LOL - Now here I am reading your post thinking that would be great, but I don't have time to go all the way to Phoenix before the cake is due. Then.....I realize I already have those molds!!! I forgot about them because I bought them over a year ago & haven't used them. Too funny - thanks for the reminder, that's what I'll use!
