I am hoping come of my CC friends can offer some advise. I have an Epson Stylus 88 printer that I use for my edible images. I have had it for about 1 year and have never had any problems. Lately, however, whenever an image is printed, the colors are faded and miscolored, wordings are barely visible and there are like streaks that come out on the picture. The ink barrels are fine and full - none are empty, so I am not sure what could be the problem. Any suggestions/advise?

It sounds like your printer heads need cleaning...I think the kopykake site gives indtructions on how to clean the heads on most printers...hopefully someone here also can give you more details as to how!!

Kopykake sells a steam head cleaner, but I just did it with a fabric steamer I happend to have. Its the one used to "steam iron" clothes.
