Since I am just getting started, I was wondering how you find out about Bridal shows so that you can get a booth. Where would you look for the information?

ask some other vendors, including cake decorators "what are the best shows to get into?" then ask them how you can get info.

If you have any idea on who sponsors the shows, contact them direct. In one small town I know it's sponsored by the local paper. In another town, it's sponsored by the local radio station.

Check out PWG (Perfect Wedding Guide) website, click on 'find local vendor" and there is a section on Upcoming Events, where they list their bridal show schedule.

But seriously ... just ask other wedding vendors. That'll be your best source.

Sometimes reception places hold their own bridal shows. That's a good start too. Just call and ask if they have a bridal show and then ask for information to be sent. You can also check convention centers if you are thinking about doing a big show. They know when their events happen and who you need to contact.

Good luck!
