Did anyone see cake challenge last night? That cake with the malted milk buttercream filling looked so good! Does anyone have a recipe?

TIA ~Mindy

Sure didn't, but it sounds mighty tasty. icon_smile.gif

You might try adding malted milk powder or chocolate malt syrup to your favorite American b/c recipe.

I think Melvira has a recipe. She likes working with malt balls and I think she may have a recipe. Yes, that cake looked and sounded really good!

I kept switching back and forth from Dancing with the Stars, but then Cake challenge won out when they really started to get into it. Have to admit, I wasn't impressed with Slyvia. Seemed a little too snooty to me! But probably what a business woman!

Thanks Guys!! I was thinking of adding malted powder to Rich's. But I was worried that I would end up with a grainy texture. I didn't know about the liquid version! Thanks Jan! Now, where can I find it? And how much is a wickedly generous amount?
