are there any fillings that don't need to be kept cold other than buttercream. I am making and decorating a cake on friday for a party on saturday. This will be a white cake covered in fondant.

Thank you icon_smile.gif

I use the fillings in a sleeve. They don't have to be refridgerated at all and that's why I love them. You can get them at your cake supply store or order them from www.countrykitchen.com

I hope this helps you!

Here is my most popular filling recipe - it is seedless raspberry, and it can stay at room temp for a couple of days:

Most fillings that aren't dairy based can be kept out. I usually add a Tblsp or 2 of liqueur to my filling recipes to act as a preservative...not sure it actually does anything but it sounds good and tastes yummy icon_smile.gif
