So I was working on a little fondant version of Elmo's goldfish, Dorothy, tonight. She needed to fit down inside a fish bowl so she's not very big. I wanted to put scales on her and I just couldn't imagine cutting a bunch of teeny tiny circles, but I couldn't think of another way. I was searching my tips for a small circle to cut them with and every stinking round tip I own has just magically disappeared! So I was searching for an alternative when I tried tip 81 pressed right into the fondant and whatdya know? The perfect scales! I'm sure this is one of those "new to me" things and others have done it a million times but I thought I'd share in case it might come in handy for someone else! I'm sure I'm not making any sense so I'll try to attach a picture.
