Where do you all buy your cutters? I know there used to be a big post on this but I think it is now gone.
Thanks
I have been having to order mine from ebay or just from decorating stores online. I have a hard time finding anything outside of a daisy, heart, and a circle at our local stores. Off the beaten Path is one of the better sites I have found. Here is the link

My new favorite copper cutter shop is ecrandal originals. Great designs and they're beautifully made!!! I just found them around Valentine's Day and I've already placed three orders (plus I have custom cutters being made!!) Their shipping prices are the best around.

Wow! thanks for the collection of resources guys!
Here is a really nice source from the UK: http://www.cakescookiesandcraftsshop.co.uk/. I just ordered from them and am very happy with my goodies!!
can you recommend places that will ship to canada? i found off the beaten path, loved the selection only to find out they won't ship to canada and when my friend tried to ship to another friend in the states they wouln't cuz her M/C didn't match the shipping adress i'm totally bumbed out-i want ones i can't typically get in stores. Michael's used to have a huge selection but drastically reduced to pretty much the typical ones-they also won't accept orders-how sad it that?!!?
Thanks for all the new websites I just have to check out!! Sometimes it's hard to figure the actual size of the cutter, tho. I ordered a dress cutter from Off the Beaten Path, and it was really tiny! I'm never quite sure how some of them measure their cookie cutters.
I found this great website www.karenscookies.com, you can buy cutters, not as large of sellection as other places. But what is better is she as instruction cards on decorating cookies. They are great and very helpful way of decorating. Also used her meringue buttercream receipe and it is nice. doesn't dry as hard as royal but gluides on great.
Almost all mine come from www.kitchengifts.com A few come from www.coppergifts.com and from time to time if I find a cool copper cutter from another source I'll buy that. I only use the copper cutters -- they last forever!

Have you tried ecrandal originals?

I love them!! I just placed a custom order and I'm already sending in another!! They don't have nearly the number of designs the other two have, but I think their quality is unmatched. Plus, the cutters come so prettily (and carefully) packaged. My wish list is growing exponentially!!! My DH has it on his bulletin board in his office!!! Birthday - check. Anniversary - check. Christmas - check. ...

Wow!! What a great site!! Thanks for sharing! I see my wishlist growing...
I've decided cookies are my next frontier! So last night I decided to buy some cutters online. I wanted some specific ones and since I'm a beginner, tin ones will do. I found several at www.kitchenworksinc.com. Most were priced at $.99. I also sound several at Off the Beaten Path (www.cookiecutter.com). But neither one had ALL the cutters I wanted, so I would have to place an order with each and the shipping was $9 or more, which wasn't very cost effective.
Then I found www.wineandcake.com. It turns out that they had an excellent assortment of cutters, most cost around $1.15, and they ship via U.S. Priority for only $5.89. (Does anyone know what the HOFTB prefix means? Is it a brand?) For me, every penny counts so I was very excited to find them. I didn't see them listed in this thread. I'll follow up and let you know if I'm satisfied with my order.
Here's my order for comparison purposes:

1 HOFTB1707 Baby onesie 4" cutter $1.15

1 HOFTB1439 3.5" Crown cookie cutter $1.15
1 HOFTB1702 Tropical Fish cutter $1.15
Subtotal: $20.79
Shipping: $5.89
Total $26.68
Thanks. I had missed the Foose website. I found it this morning. They are now in my favorites for future orders.
Received my cookie cutter order from www.wineandcake.com. I place the order late Friday night and my package arrived on Wednesday via US Priority Mail!
With shipping costs on the rise, I like having the U.S. mail option.
I also make an order in wineandcake.com and it arrived in 3 days. I live in P.R. Their great!!!!
You guys are great have to check out this sites, my hubby and I have been thinking of offering cookies so this sites come very handy
If you live in Canada like I do the cheapest place I use is Golda's Kitchen
www.goldaskitchen.com
She has a good selection at very reasonable prices and shipping is very reasonable as well

I think that the site you are talking about is actually www.karenscookies.net . She does have really great tutorials and a nice selection of cutters and decorating supplies. I have ordered from her before and have never dealt with a nicer business owner, she went above and beyond to help me out.
This one is my absolutely favorite Ecrandal!! www.ecrandal.com they have the best customer service and very unique cutters that I don't find anywhere else.
