THis is my first wedding cake to actually charge for and I truly need your input on what to charge. It is going to a four tiered white cake - 8", 10" 12" and 14" round. It will have buttercream icing, and the bride wants edible pearls scattered over the cake and luster dust over the entire cake. Also, the 8" and 14" will just be dummy layers but of course I will still have to frost and decorate. Please let me know what you think.

Pricing really depends on where you are located, though the general average seems to be about $2 a serving for buttercream cakes. Going off of the Wilton chart http://www.wilton.com/cake/cakeprep/baking/times/wedding_2inch.cfm your cake would be approx. 196 servings x $2= $392. I would call a couple bakeries to get a feel for prices in your area.
