I am trying to make butterflies from chocolate candy melts but as they dry, they keep turning whitish. I am not sure whats going on as I have worked with candy melts many times and have never had this problem.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Erica

You've most likely overheated the melts.

You can re-melt them with some fresh, slowly & not too hot. If they don't pour easily, you can add some paramount crystals so that they pour better but set up hard (if you add oil or shortening, they may set up too soft to hold up well).
