I am making my sister's wedding cake in November and I really want to find an awesome cake recipe that stays moist for a few days and can hold up if stacked. I think just looking for a traditional wedding cake flavor like almond or vanilla but all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to CC! You should try this recipe. It gets rave reviews! You can really use it with any cake mix flavor and you can sub the almond and/or vanilla extracts for any flavoring you choose. Its a very moist cake that people just go nuts for.

The link to the WASC, Alana provided is great; all the reliability of a cake mix but with a more homemade taste. It's one of my favorites!

I tried the WASC and I wasn't very impressed by it. I may try it again and add a little more flavoring or something but it really didn't impress me much. Any more suggestions? Also, does anyone have a suggestion as to a good flavor of cake to use pineapple filling with? thanks
