I just got an order for an under water theme baby shower cake. They're going w/ sea foam green and blue for the nursery linens. I've looked in the gallery and saw some great pictures, but I thought I would come to all of you for more inspiration!...if you don't mind me picking your brains!

I need a cake that serves about 40, but she said extra cake is fine. The baby shower is May 18th.

I would just do like a two tier cake with marbled blue/green fondant and put some coral, seaweed, fish, crabs, shells etc. all around the tiers and make a gumpaste baby on top, he could have his head on a fish for a pillow or something and covered up with a seaweed blanket?? Underwater baby shower........first I've ever heard of that! lol

Aww, I like the seaweed blanket idea and the fish for a pillow! That's sounds great! I'm not sure if she wants fondant or bc yet. She's still discussing that with her sister. I do kind of hope she goes w/ fondant though...mor options!
