I have a request for silver dragees on a cake. The ones I have say on the label "for decorative use only". The ingredient list is all edible things & silver. I am guessing the silver makes them put the "non-edible" label on them??

I ate a few & they do have a metalic taste.

Do I advise people to not eat them?

I refuse to use them even though legally I can in my state.

They are a liability due to the metallics used and being so hard. The last thing I want is someone looking for extra money to sue me for eating silver or breaking a tooth. icon_rolleyes.gif
