Does anyone have instructions on how to make a gumpaste chalice? The post I was looking for is no longer there.

You can go to www.google.com and search for a picture of one and make a pattern from that. Or cheat like me and buy a candy mold of one. icon_lol.gif

I actually did this yesterday. I used a small sugar bowl that has cut design on it. Covered it with Crisco really well, pressed fondant/gp over it, and let it dry. Gently took it off. While it was drying I formed a stem for it. I added some cut fondant designs to it (could be done in RI I Imagine). Then painted it all with gold Luster Dust. I don't have a picture yet, but it came out pretty good.

Thanks that's a good idea. I think I have a small bowl I could use to do that.
