I was just wondering if anyone knows how to replicate the taste of these wonedrful little treats....is this what poured fondant tastes like? I love that icing on top of them.

Poured fondant will give your cakes that melty look. I think that the frosting on those cakes are sweeter than what your MMF fondant will taste like. (gotta love processed sugar
)Here is a link to a great showing of how to make petit fours- they use the "drippy" fondant. It's a vegan website but the pics are great and really walk you through everything. Hope it helps.
