Just what is the industry standard for buttercream and fondant?
Not all fondant contains meat (gelatin). The stuff I use is even vegan! I use 250-300 lbs fondant per year, so there is no way I would ever make it myself (and a good thing, too, since every recipe I have ever seen for homemade RF contains meat).
iI sincerely hope that everyone who uses marshmallow, jello or gelatin in their cakes lets their customers know that there is meat in the cake.
