I am printing this thread to show hubby since he is dying to buy a side-by-side for the house-kitchen, and I am adamently against it just for this reason! The people I know with side-by-sides NEVER have enough freezer space! I refuse to even consider the idea.

He says, "At least think about it". I say, "Why? The freezer space WON'T get any bigger if I THINK about it!"

We always get a 26-30 lb turkey for Thanksgiving and no way that big boy will fit in a side-by-side. Large pizzas from Sam's Club wont' fit in there. I don't see how families function with this little cold space that's barely big enough to hold a can of juice and a gallon of ice cream.
