I am making a cake that is supposed to look like grass and I wanted to do a green buttercream, but I am worried that guests tongues and teeth will turn green. I usually use tinted fondant and that's not a problem, but this time I wanted to do buttercream.

Am I right or wrong that the green buttercream might be a problem?

Thanks for your help,
Alex

Yeah, tinted buttercream it going to turn mouths and tongues colors. I don't think there is a way around it. But usually it doesn't last long, especially if the guests are drinking coffee or other beverages along with their dessert. I say that if you want to use BC, go ahead and it will be fine.
