Hi,
I am hoping for some ideas on how to decorate a birthday cake for a man. It's not someone I know personally and the person gave a very generic order (carrot cake), so I don't think they are looking for something funny, just elegant. I don't want to use too many frills or make it look too feminine. I might have added some fondant accents to make it look unique, except that I think they might refrigerate the cake for a few days before eating it, and that would do in the fondant.
Does anyone have ideas (or examples they could point me to) for some elegant and creative but gender neutral or masculine BC decorations?
Thanks,
Antgirl

I always check the gallery for ideas when I get stumped.

Also, try using google and search for images of masculine birthday cake.

Hope this helps.

If it's a carrot cake, you could pipe a large carrot on top. I've seen those and they are cute!

Just pipe a few carrots put a swirly edge on there and on the sides chop some nuts and stick on there. That will look nice and not feminine at all thumbs_up.gif
