I wanted to share something I made this weekend that was a HUGE hit among family and friends.
I made an apple spice cake with caramel buttercream and it was so easy.

I just used the DH Spice Cake mix. I followed the directions but added an extra egg and replaced the water with apple cider.

Then for the frosting, I made my normal cream cheese buttercream icing very stiff then added some of the Marzetti's caramel apple dip to it, just added and tasted until it was just right. It was so yummy with the apple spice cake. The icing was very soft so I kept it in the refrigerator but it was so so good and easy.

I've learned so much here, just wanted to share!

YAY! I am SOOOO glad somebody posted this. I just bought a spice cake mix the other day and have been searching for a recipe I could enhance it with that didn't use pumpkin or carrots. I will deffinately use this. Thank you very much!!!
