Forgive me if this is posted twice...I posted once and didn't see it on the forum!

I had the best petit four from a baby shower this morning. It was so moist and yummy. I called the bakery it came from just to be nosey and found out that they are 2" white cake squares and cost $1.50 each.

The petit four had an almond taste and seemed to have remnants from some type of sweet sticky syrup in the bottom of the paper holder. Can you coat them with some type of almond suagr solution before you ice them? I am dying to make these now, but don't know where to start. Any recommendations on directions for petit fours and petit four icing would be great!

yeah, I don't know how it ended up there. Go to forums, select cake disasters then scroll down a bit and there is a separate forum for the petit fours
