I have a picture of a cake that I e-mailed to a friend from this site, now I cannot find the picture and desperately need to know who made this cake! Please, if it's yours -PM me or post on here! Thanks!

Would anybody be able to look at it and tell me what tips are being used for the flowers, border and the swags? That is what I am needing to know -desperately I might add! Thanks for any help!

hi, look like they use tip 21 for the swags and border, and the drop tip for the flowers, done in royal icing. not sure of the tip right off hand

It looks like 124 or 125 tip was used for the drop flowers to me.

The flowers on top look like apple blossoms - tip 103. The swags are probably just the star tip, maybe 18 or 21 or tip 86. The other flowers look like drop flowers - tip 224?. The shell border I am thinking is tip 21.

These are by best guesses. Hope it helps.

I would agree that the swags are an 18 or 21 and the bottom border is a 21. The flowers are either a 224 or 225 with tip 2 center.

You have all helped me out so much already! I have some of the tips mentioned so I will see which of those will work best and go buy more if I need too. Do you think #5 would work for the flower centers or would it be too big? I am new to piping -if you can't figure that one out, so I am thankful you are all so willing to help out! You're the best! thumbs_up.gif

A 5 might be too big but a 3 might work

I am still trying to find how to make these flowers, the ones on the top and on the swags. If anyone has further info or ideas please let me know! Thanks! thumbs_up.gif
