Help!
Don't wanna use my outdated milk!
Anyone use water in their buttercream?
I use a recipe that has butter, shortening, karo, vanilla, powdered sugar, and a bit of milk.

oops...keep in mind though, it won't be as creamy but you can substitute one for the other

Yes you can use water.. I like milk better, but have used water in a pinch.
Do you have any coffee mate (flavored kind) or liquer... you can always sub whatever liquid that you like for the milk...

I KEEP SMALL CANS OF EVAPORATED MILK ON HAND.I HAVE HAD NO COMPLAINTS, ONLY COMPLIMENTS!!
