Hi there eveyone! My cousin is getting married next July and loves Lavender - I am going to try to make lavender out of gumpaste, but I am looking for any ideas anyone might have for the cake or for floral arangements (gumpaste ofcourse) etc

I make cookies and madeleines by infuing the butter or liquid with dried lavender flowers. I even did lavender marshmallows. Make sure the lavender is fresh, it makes a big difference. Friends gave me some of their lavender that they use for creme brulee and it wasn't stored properly, when I found some fresher at the local spice store - it knocked my socks off!
