Covering a cake dummy in fondant is soooo much easier than an actual "people are going to eat it" cake! icon_lol.gif It took me 4 hours to decorate this cake for a friend whose future SIL wanted to propose at the DD's going away party! Satin Ice fondant and gumpaste bows. Entire cake was inspired by franjmc of Australia. Thanks for looking and I'd take any advise anyone can give me for making working with fondant on a real cake!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Be sure your real cake will be as pretty and nicely done as you dummy cake.

I agree with the others, the cake looks beautiful. I've actually saved franjmc's pic of her version in my favourites because I wanted to give it a go but am too chicken! You've done a fantastic job! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif
