I have to make a cake for a friend she is retiring from being a health aide. We are giving her a surprise party and I cant come up with an idea. Her party is the 21st of this month for over 100 people. I appreciate any ideas.
TIA

My mom is a nurse and is planning on retiring next year. She is so looking forward to spending more time on her garden. So for her, I'd make a garden-themed cake. Is there anything in particular that she is looking forward to doing (after retiring)?

No she just wants to relax. I think I came up with the perfect idea. I plan on making a three tier cake basketweave in maybe pink and white or lavendar and white. Not sure yet. Then on the last tier doing the wishing well in the celebrate with fondant book, with a banner that reads "Wishing you well"
The borders will be royal icing flowers

What do you think???

Thanks so much Rincewind for your idea but I already did a garden theme birthday cake for another friend.
