just a quick thanks to all those who were ever talking about making roses from tootsie rolls, bubble gum and starburst candies...
It was "take your kid to work day" for grade 9's and of course there were left over treats from last night..lots of gum...so I decided I would show the kids how to make bubble gum roses at coffee break...and they loved them!! I told them about the tootsie rolls and starburst candies...

Every year they tour through the lab and look bored as could be but this year I think they enjoyed at least making the rose.. I know I did...

hmmm bubble gum? lol I'll have to try that one never heard of it before tks

I softened it in the microwave...not my mouth..lol
