I have done a purse cake cutting a 3 inch round in half. To make it more realistic looking...you could cover it in fondant and use gold or silver luster dust on the buckles. Don't forget to post a pic when you finish it!

How did you make the "make-up" in our purse. Did you have a template. I am having a Mary Kay party at my house in a few weeks and I wanted to make a cake with "make-up" on it.
