Hi everyone,

This seems like this silliest question, but I'll ask anyway. Is it possible to make Antonia's icing if you don't have a kitchen scale?? I have been using the Wilton RI recipe as it is so simple to just throw in a box of powdered sugar. I'd love to try Antonia's icing because I've heard so many rave reviews... but I just don't know how much 2lbs 4oz measures up to? Do I just convert the measurements into cups? I'd really appreciate your tips!

Thanks! icon_smile.gif

I've made this several times and used it as ounces. Never failed me.

I always have to thin it way down so I just use a 2 lb bag and that is it. I thn only have to thin it a little for cookies. I was able to make roses with it without adding sugar too so just try using 2 lbs only.
