Does anyone know if Vreamay Right is similiar to Sweetex or even a hi ratio shortening? I ordered something from Foodservices and they TOLD me it was Sweetex but it was actually something subsituted by their supplier. I have 50 lbs of this stuff and need to know more about it.

I called the company that makes it but it's Friday night so not going to have an answer till Monday probably.

Thanks,

I have the cake and icing shortening. So it's a hi ratio? How can you tell?

i use it all the time. It is hi ratio and works just like sweetex. You have to have the one that says cake and icing shortening.
